Brescia, 28 May 2024 – Camozzi Automation – the international industrial automation business and part of the Camozzi Group – returns again this year to participate at SPS Italia 2024. This leading industry event takes place from 28 to 30 May at Fiere di Parma (booth G003 – Pad. 3).
As a premier event in the national industrial automation calendar, the SPS fair serves as a valuable showcase for Camozzi Automation to present its comprehensive technological capabilities. Under the slogan “Your Motion Control Provider”, the company will exhibit a selection of cutting-edge components and products designed to enhance performance and motion control across major industrial processes. This strong market position is rooted in Camozzi Automation's expertise in developing integrated technologies that combine pneumatics, mechanics, and electronics, as well as co-engineering digital solutions for predictive process control.
Among the highlights at the booth is the newly launched collaborative gripper Series CSSP. Designed for flexibility, safety, ease of use and efficiency, it is a plug-and-play end effector (or EOAT) ideal for the smart evolution of handling processes. Additionally, visitors can see the collaborative gripper in action through a dynamic laser demo created specifically for this event. Developed in collaboration with Bi.Lab, this demo exemplifies the company's ability to integrate diverse technologies and sensorise components, ensuring real-time, edge-based data collection, refinement and user feedback via an intuitive graphical dashboard powered by Seco's HMI panel. To consolidate its position as a leader in the digital transformation of manufacturing, Camozzi Automation’s booth will also showcase wireless-ready solutions. These solutions, developed in cooperation with CoreTigo, are designed to serve the market effectively.
We are convinced that the great challenge for machine, system and line builders lies in digitalisation - says Andrea Camisani, CTO of Camozzi Automation. Sensorising the critical points of a machine and being able to collect refined data on the performance of components and production processes has become a widespread need among many end users. These users seek increasingly flexible machines that are easy to program and provide continuous feedback. In other words, we all need to work towards facilitating the evolution of traditional manufacturing into cyber-physical systems or enabling communication platforms that can provide added value to the process - Camisani continues - For us, technological integration and digitalisation are essential assets to implement the development of Industry 5.0 as they stand for solutions that focus on energy saving and waste reduction, while also enhancing production processes and improving work quality for technical operators.
