A joint Lab with Sauber Technologies. Pursuing excellence.

The Camozzi Group, a global leader in the production of components and systems for high-tech industrial automation, will keep pursuing technological excellence on and off the track, as the Group extends its partnership with Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber.

First announced in 2022, the partnership, both a technological and sporting venture, marked a significant return to Formula One for the Italian company, and proved to be a high-value collaboration based on the two outfits’ commitment to delivering excellence through co-operation and shared synergies.

As part of the partnership agreement, a talent- and knowledge-exchange programme was also established, with the creation of a joint development lab involving the Camozzi Research Centre (CRC) in Milan, Italy, and the Sauber Technologies headquarters in Hinwil, Switzerland. Over just two years, the development lab created opportunities for know-how sharing, enabling the engineers and researchers from all the Camozzi Group companies to acquire and expand their knowledge, with a focus on the field of advanced materials.

Camozzi branding remains prominent on the sidepod air inlets on Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber’s 2024 challenger, the C44 driven by Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu, as well as in the team garage and on a variety of assets.

Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Team Representative of Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with the Camozzi Group: with their long history in Formula One and a common striving for precision and excellence, they are of fundamental support to our operations. Over the past two seasons, we have been able to create synergies between their work and that of Sauber Technologies, further expanding our respective know-how. With Camozzi, we can count on an experienced partner by our side, as we aim to further grow both on and off the track.”

Lodovico Camozzi, President and CEO of Camozzi Group: “We are proud to continue working alongside Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber – one of the longest-standing, historic Formula One teams on the grid. The automotive field is an incredible innovation incubator, which we are strongly committed to further exploring through our partnership. We are pleased to keep racing alongside Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber and look forward to pursuing technological excellence together.”
